what I've learnt...this week!

What I've learnt this week...
This week I have learnt many things such as...

  • How to create this blog
  • And how to use it
  • Friendships and relationships and Life Ed.
  • How to use and cut metal
  • Facts about humanities and other topics from the inference cards
Starting with the blogs...
In the past few days, thanks to Mrs McKenzie, a blog has been set up for me to use and post things to share with you. Thankfully I have finally learnt how to use it! But the best part is customizing the backgrounds and settings to my liking.

Then with the Life Ed...
We've had a few fun sessions with Harold and Paula learning about how to have a successful relationship with your friends and with your family. Also about how to look after your body and keep it healthy. But the most important part is that we learnt how special we are and what stresses us out. The guilty people that were making the other people unbalanced apologized and were forgiven in the short amount of time!

Let's talk techno with technology...
As of course you know, every Tuesday we go down to Otaki College and learn a range of subjects and try them out for a few weeks. The subject I am in for these few weeks is... METAL WORK!!! It is so fun and my favourite subject so far! I can't wait to finish my fruit bowl that we are in the process of making!

why can't we...play games all day long?

The question is, why can't we play games all day long? Well, I wish that we could play games all day instead of staying inside and pretending we know what we're doing with all the technology and that. But, there is a down-side of playing games all day long, unless we play learning games, there's not really any learning involved so we won't get a very good job when we're older. I know that games are fun though and we all play them on technology or with friends at school. I know I do! Another reason why games are not all that suitable for playing all day long is because... wouldn't you get bored? I mean, there would be a point where everyone would get bored with playing games that they made up themselves or playing outside games. Okay now it's staring to sound like a "why we can't play games all day long?" so this is why I really want to play games all day long... the teachers can relax a bit knowing that the class is all happy and under control for a while. Also, it will be a better learning environment for the classroom and we all know why!
